My Grand Power K100 need repairing. The plastic trigger guard part which works as slide stopper was finally cracked and cut by slide. Now to disassemble pistol i don't need to pull trigger guard down anymore. I was lucky, instead of flying away (or in to my face) the slide juts jammed in far back position. So, i have couple of questions. Looks like i need just change trigger guard and, maybe, recoil spring. Who can do this job in Canada and who has parts? Actually i can change it myself... Is the trigger guard from STI GP6 will fit old K100 frame?

The frame is the same. Freedom ventures may be able to get you the part. Or you could email Grandpower and ask for a replacement part. The owner is apparently pretty good with that stuff.

Looks like frame is NOT the same. GP6 has MK6 frame, but i have K100 frame - see the difference:

E-mail them at Grand Power directly with the serial number of your gun. I'd be very surprised if they don't have a replacement part to you quickly. If you can't tackle the job yourself, check Arwen Ace out. He did some work to my origional K100.

Nice part is the barrel and slide are serialed on the K100, so no STATT required to just take the frame.

Ask your gunsmith of course, but as there is no serial number on the frame of the pre-STI imports, the registered part ain't the lower.

As for the K100, I believe GP will also sell you the upgraded Mark6 frame if you like.

Thanks everybody for advise!
So far it looks good! I contacted Grand Power and they promise to send
replacement without any charges directly to me, i also asked for new magazine butt plates, which i also cracked playing IPSC :p. I red that new one are unbreakable.
Will send old trigger gueard for K100 and we do indeed have new floor plates for magazines andthey are plastic but do not break even if you drop the magazine.

I needed a spring to shoot saami ammo and they sent me one!

I really don't understand where the number should be as the frt for the gun says that it should be on the frame as usual and then says some are on the slide and barrel and implies this is okay! Bugah if I know!

Don't know who the Canadian importer is or if there is one now. Screwed if it is through he USA now, first one I saw was from Marstar, so easy to export from Canada and so hard to export from the USA.

If you go to the FAQ page on the Grand Power website, it says the official serial number is recorded on the slide and barrel, as the origional Austrian import Glocks were. The US won't allow the import of an unserial numbered frame, so now the metal frame insert is serialed as well.

STI is the US distributor, represented in Canada by Freedom Ventures.

Thanks, Yaro!
Your package is arrived safely, but it took me more that 2 hours to change trigger guard. Now i know a couple tricks how to do it faster ;-)
Also i installed new fiberoptic sight and big button magazine release.
Also changed magazine floor plates to new unbreakable one! Will try it tomorrow. Thank you for excellent customer support!
