Need guidance on buying specific items from site sponsors

Looking to buy a couple things, and i would like to buy from a Sponsor of this website.
-Harris Bi-pod (the 6-9 inch with the leg notches)(im assuming this will fit onto the savage axis with ease)
-Burris Scope rings
-Picatinny rail (the gun im getting, savage axis says Drilled and tapped for scope mounts, I'm assuming that the rail can mount onto this)
-and Scope (something decent and inexpensive for this will be my intro rifle to the wonderful world of precision shooting. The caliber is a 223 and the url is http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/axisstainless)
 
Well there is Wolverine supplies http://www.wolverinesupplies.com/ or you could try Mystic Precision, although I am not sure that there a sponsor http://www.mysticprecision.com/wp/ there's a whole list of sponsors on the Dealers Network at the top left. I don't know if you'll find everything at the same site or not I haven't looked for those items on any of the sites other than the two I mentioned and Wholesale sports. Were are you getting the Savage Axis? If you get it from Wholesale sports it comes with a 3-9x40mm Bushnell scope already mounted on it and bore sited. The only thing I don't like about the Axis is the stock and the fact the trigger guard is plastic, otherwise for the price and what everyone has mentioned it seems to be a good gun. I have my mind set on getting a Stevens Model 200 in .223Rem. I hope this helps, good luck on your search.
 
I'm going to call Ellwood Epps tomorrow and order through them.

So far, i'm not having the best of experiences with wholesale sports. I bought a 597 so i can practice with, and the company i bought that from didn't have and weren't expecting any magazines for them. So i ordered 5 10-bullet magazines and a banana clip last week and they still haven't shipped it out.

The one i am ordering does come with the scope, but i would like a better one then a stock one. The bundled packages i find are a joke.

This is only a introductory gun for me, kind of like a segue to my next purchase which would be the savage 12 f/tr http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/12FTR.

Just a friendly warning. If you order something and want it fast ask if it's in stock. The Canadian market isn't exactly a priority for USA based companies. Also some stuff appears to be manufactured in limited runs and once the stock is used up it may take a bit before they do another run. Delays should be expected...even long delays.

The scope mount on the rifle will work fine by the way. A decent scope and rings and you'll be laughing.

If you find them advertising on the CGN then I would call them sponsors, Jerry (Mystic) being one of them. A great guy to deal with by the way. Epps has a great selection of everything shooting and if you get to Gravenhurst it's a great place to spend an hour or so.
 
Jerry at mysticprecision should have everything want and probably at a better price then epps. He'll also have everything else that you will eventually want.

Ill let you all know what happens.
I called Ellwood Epps, and they have the rifle. Going to wait and see what happens with Mystic to make my next decision.
