Need help! About Mini30

Every single time I bought a Ruger Mini 30, I compared it to a beat up old SKS that cost me $ 100, and found the SKS would shoot about 2" 100 yd groups, while my last Mini 30, which cost several times as much, shot 10" patterns at 50 yds.

I suspected that the Mini30 would be comparable to an SKS at a higher price.
 
I Have Fired 3000 Rounds Of Chez Russian And Norinco It Is Best With Norinco Around 3 Inchs.all Functioned Well The Advantage The Mini Has Over The Sks Is Length.they Are Short And Compact And Easier To Pack Through Thr Bushes.
 
Great gun

I have fired hundreds of milsurp......russian ammo, czech ammo, chinese ammo. They are all great. You just need to clean well everytime but it is superb.

Accuracy, with a 3-9 scope I can keep my grouping at 6 inches at 300 yards.

I even aimed at the chains holding the gongs at the 200 yards and 300 yards and was able to bring the gong down !
 
FWIW, I think the mini would be the easiest gas system to get the corrosive salts out of. Pop the action out of the stock, and run hot water all over and through the gas hole. Similarly rinse the hole in the op rod.

Sounds a lot easier than my SKS!
