My IPSC instructor told me the holster needs to be adjusted so that a pinky finger can't reach into the trigger guard. I finally got everything set up properly except for one problem: vertical (or horizontal depending on your perspective) play. When the gun is "down" everything is fine; when it bumps "up" I can reach inside. Is there any way to correct this? (Sorry about the crappy cell phone camera.)

What do you mean bumps up? There shouldn't be that much play in the holster. When its full seated is what they are looking for but if the gun moves that far while still "locked" by the trigger block then there is an issue.

This is the direction the gun moves. When it's fully seated it's fine, but if I tap the gun forward it moves enough that I can fit my pinky in the trigger guard. It's almost like the inside of the retention clip isn't wide enough. There is a larger one (meant for 1911s) with the spare parts but it won't lock completely when its installed.
