Fellows,

I need help adjusting triggers on my CG63 and M96. I've been told that both these rifles have adjustable triggers, but I know squat about adjusting them. Right now my CG63 has a good trigger (not excellent) and the M96 trigger isn't even good. I'd really like to be able to tune/ adjust them. Does anyone have any links to a site with pics etc or anyone able to describe well how to adjust them? I could post pics this evening of my rifle's trigger areas if it makes you assisting me any easier. The reason I know the triggers can definitely get better is I've used another M96 that has the nicest trigger of any civilian rifle I've used; very comparable to the old 7.62mm Parker Hale sniper rifles that the CF used in the early 90's. I don't need quite that good on my rifles, but some improvement is definitely needed. Thanks fellows!

I don't know what a CG63 is but if the M96 is a Swedish Mauser then the trigger is not adjustable. The trigger can be replaced for a fully adjustable one, and you will shurely appreciate that!

There are modifications that can be done to the M96 that involve taking out the two-stage (if it is one). It involves drilling/tapping and putting a set screw in. For around $60, get yourself an aftermarket Bold trigger. They come with either a side-safety or without. They work very well.
