Need help and guidance starting

Hi Everyone,

My eldest daughter and I got our hunting licenses 2 years ago and have not gone out yet. I have asked a few people to take me or us out and no bites. We live in London, ON. I am not sure where to go, I don't believe there is much crown land to hunt on around here. We would like to start small, likely just rabbit and move up over time and as money permits. Even help with Coyates or other rodants to improve our skills.

Any help would be appricated.
 
Go for a drive,,,find some good areas and start knocking on doors..Never rely on anyone else to help you out cause most times they wont. Invest in some RM maps and ask landowners. I have got all my permission that way. I dont know about Ontario but here in Sask the farmers are pretty cool and so long as your respectful they dont really have an issue. Starting with rabbits and coyotes is really easy then once you gain trust you can ask for deer, elk ect...
 
Check out this website. therealoutdoorexperience.com. It is run by two guys in London. One of them is a good friend of mine and it's all about showing people how to start out hunting. If there is not enough on the videos try contacting them for some help.
