I got a question to all you lovers of antique's .Can you fire a rimfire cartridge in a pinfire revolver?????? thanks boy's Greg

Not without reworking the cylinder, hammer, and receiver. Pinfire is a whole different beast.

Can ammo be bought for these Killer? How much work is involved? Any info you could give describing what is involved would be very much appreciated.

Specimen cartridges can be acquired. Is there fresh pinfire ammuntion available at your nearest gunshop? Not a chance.
There has been pinfire ammunition handmade by serious enthusiasts.

The search function has never worked for me, so instead I would suggest going back over postings for the last month or more. I am sure that I have posted on shooting pinfires. Short answer is that they can be shot but that you need access to a metal lathe and knowledge to shoot them.

There is a company in France I believe that sells reloading kits (brass, pins, tools, etc) for reloading pinfire ammo.

It is in French , there is an English link but it doesn't work for me.....
