Yeah....
But he did mention the 505 so I thought it might be relevant to the discussion.
Knowing what I know now I'm not sure that if I had to start over again I would buy a "starter" kit.
Personaly I think You need to decide what You want to pay before making any decision. There is No "best press" there is alot of good ones but all have there. Own pros and cons. If Lee is what You can afford then it will serve You well if You can afford Rcbs even better if You can afford doing a custom kit IMHO that is best. I would avoid balance beam scales they are accurate but slow and a pita as far as im concerned. Someone recomend a Redding trickler That's a great tracker and I agree. As far as a press I prefer Redding over Rcbs and Lee but everyone has there preferences. But it all comes down to money do You want to spend 500 or 2000 essentialy they will all reload good reliable ammo. Some will just do it easier faster and with less tinkering. What I would buy works out to be quite expensive. You welcome to pm me if you'd like.
How does Hornady stack up? Haven't seen them mentioned once in this thread. I've heard good things about their progressives, but don't know anything about the single stage.
edit: obviously they're expensive, I know that much
