I just got my first pistol yesterday, a Ruger SR9. I wanted a .22 pistol first and then to get a Glock 17 as I am a big Glock fan but I got a deal I couldn`t refuse:) Anyways I love the gun, fits nice in my hand, light weight, looks nice but the only thing I dislike on it is the trigger pull, its to stiff and heavy for my liking. If there a way I can change this on my pistol or do I need a replacement trigger.

Thanks

It's not the actual trigger. It's the internal workings that need some attention from a smith or a keen shooting hobbyist that knows their way around the insides.

The good news is that the SR9 is fully capable of some nice shooting. But like you I found that the feel of the trigger sucked badly. It's a great gun being held back by the stock setup.

Get on the various boards and google the snot out of the web for SR9 info. I'm sure there's some options out there. Start with looking for spring kits from Wolff or others.
