Need help choosing between 1911s

I jumped on this one, it was a good price, and another member on here has one and likes it so, that helped sway my decision. It must have been over my price threshold at most places which is why I missed it the first time.

If it shoots as good as it looks , you chose well !

I'd have voted sti.....but daaammmm that's a sweet looking 1911....

They are listed at 1600 at a few places and The one shop had it for 1300, so couldn't resist.

Great choice. The S&W not easy to find but every review I've read has been positive. Premium brand 1911 are always a good buy.

Got the S&W 1911 SC in the mail today. Beauty of a gun, can't believe the trigger. Did a field strip and clean/lubed according to instruction manual. Looking forward to taking it out!

I have a full size Riger Sr1911. Apart from the crap magazines which failed at about 500 rounds per mag it is a great gun. Have several thousand rounds through it. Reasonably accurate, better than me, and very reliable with 230gr round nose.

Of the three listed, STI will have much better quality/fit and finish than the other two choices.

Love bobbed commanders (working on a Norinco build myself). That is a Purdy pocket pistol with a wide throat you have there OP.
