Need help choosing optic!

Does anyone have experience behind both the AMG and LHT? I would like some feedback from someone that’s looked through both if that’s possible. I’m really like if the LHT 4.5-22x50. Not a big fan of the push button illumination tho.

I have the LHT and the push button illumination is the only negative for me so far. I wish it had dial illumination setting like my other scopes.

Honestly id go for a dedicated target scope (lots of great mentions)for your tikka tac, and then id grab a dedicated lightweight hunting rifle/scope combo.

Unless you're in a blind or sitting in one spot...a heavy gun gets real old real fast. If your truck hunting then weight doesnt matter really...i find that i tend to walk farther and farther away from the truck

My t3x ctr/mdt chassis in 308 has a viper pst gen2 5-25 on top and my hunting rifle is a browning x bolt pro in 6.5prc, has a razor lht 3-15x42 on top.

I stand corrected on the source of the Razor AMG Glass, which is moot now that the AMG line has been discontinued. My beloved 6-24x Razor AMG has been replaced by the 4.5-22x Razor LHT (FFP XLR-2 MRAD reticle) within the Vortex premium line-up. The LHT comes in at a slightly lower price-point, which is a bonus. I cannot recommend the high-end Vortex lightweight scopes highly enough. If the LHT is anything like my AMG, then it will serve exceptionally well. I definitely like everything aside from the aforementioned Illumination button-switch, and I think that the change to a capped Windage Turret was a smart move. Zero the scope, and then use lateral holds for Windage while either dialling or holding for Elevation. Easy-Peasey... at least until you are under pressure! ;) ;)
