Need Help Dateing Proofs (British and Picture)

Ok my book as best as i can tell dates theses two proofs as about 1780s
look at them close and see if your books have this type of proof.
Its on a Screw off barrel Canon type Flintlock pistol.

Says Harris on its side there was a Harris who smuggled guns up the thames river in england in the 1700s
Anyway the pics are clear but my book on english proofs aint that great.
There not the more modern proofs theses are the older style with the oval area set in the steel around the proof.

Pos id on the date theses were used would be a great help :)

According to Wirnsberger, the crown over V is an inspection mark introduced in 1670 and used for inspection after proof. At this time the proof mark was crown over A. Both were apparently in use until 1813 when the crown over crossed scepters replaced them. The crown over P I am guessing came in sometime in the 1700s and was apparently used until 1813

So Safe to say gun is pre 1813 right ?

Harris was around in the mid 1700s as far as i know up till the late 1700s.
This gun will be at Kamloops gun show i just wanted a better idea of the dates is all.
