I am a trying to find a reloading primer installer that will fit my needs, I would like a quality tool and something a bit faster than using my press. Any ideas on which is best and why would really help, also any gripes too.
Thanks in advance for any info

i use a hand held one for small pistol stuff but am planning to get the new lee bench mount primer for my large rifle/pistol stuff to make things easier on my hands.

the Lee bench defiantly caught my eye, sometimes I get a tight primer pocket when doing up bulk 223. The hand prime is just not enough sometimes

Most go to the hand priming system for feel and uniformity of seating of primers, not for speed. It takes a little getting used to, but I will say, yes, it does provide a better feel, once you get the hang of it. I have the older hand Lee Auto Prime with the round tray. It is a bit of a pain to load primers from a square box into a round tray, but other than that, it works fine. I see Lee has updated it with a square tray. They also have the Ergo-Prime which I have not used, but it looks like it would allow more force and less feel. Last the bench model of the priming system would seem to provide the most force and least feel.

I hand primed 340 .45 LC last night and 400 .357 tonight. Using my Lyman hand primer . It works great, but I'd like to be able to just dump them all in a bucket/primer,and just pull a lever. Where each pull gives me a primed case. Is that possible?

I use a old RCBS bench mounted priming tool from the mid 1970s and never saw a reason to upgrade. This is because this priming tool gives me very good feel when seating the primers.
So I would ask which priming tools give the best feel when seating the primers. The primer anvil must be seated and touching the bottom of the primer pocket with a slight primer crush. (preload)
