The top one is a Lakefield not sure on model or anything like that just know it's a .22 bolt action

I'm partial to Cooey. I don't know about the others in your list. Go with what you know, right ? So I recommend the Cooey.

Easy to maintain. Easy to Shoot. Found it to be pretty accurate. Easy to put on a used scope. I have used ebay one that I picked up, a Weaver B4 scope and mount for 50$. You can still order new weaver #2 side mounts and scope rings to fit current 1" scopes if so desired.

I would also have leaned toward the Cooey. However, by the pics it appears to be the one that is in worse condition, at least cosmetically. So, it would have to be the cheapest or I would pass on it or look for one in much nicer condition. There are many out there.
Also noticed that you mention you know nothing really about them. You should be asking questions from the seller as to condition and function before buying any of them.
Oh, the Lakefield is an MKll. Value around $135.00 for the example shown.

Tho cooey is the cheapest but by only $10 compared to the norinco if I get it without the scope... Norinco posting does say like new

It becomes a personal choice as to which you like best. However, unless you plan on refinishing the particular Cooey shown,I would pass.

At this point whatever one I get I'll more then likely just be refinishing the stock as it's for the wife and she wants purple lol

As suggested it would depend on you n' your preferences and the actual pricetags. For Semi's I would take the Marlin o'er Norinco. The Norinco looks like a JW-14 and can be had new for less than $130...good luck getting an older Marlin for that price. I have a weakness for Marlins, but I have owned both (still have the Norinco in it's box). Of the 2 bolt actions I'd take the Lakefield MkII over the Cooey. Pretty wood, [slightly more] modern design, and still a fine piece of Canadiana.

Of the 4 the Marlin would be the direction I'd lean in without knowing any more than general cost, and pictures shown. Seriously; people with any .22 are way cooler than the folks without one at all.

The Norinco may prove difficult to find parts for.

There are Cooey .22s everywhere.

If you dont want to be dissapointed save a bit more and get a new Ruger 10/22

out of my 6 .22 rifles that is the only one that i truly fell in love with. If you are in the Moncton area, Dr Deals has a pile of used ones that came from some gun club I think they were rentals or something.

I know its not what you asked but i am sure a few here would agree.

If I had to decide on those ones I would go for the cooey and the Lakefied as a runner up and forget about the other two.
Both are fine rifles and should give you good reliability and are very accurate shooters, a plus with the cooey no box mag, just open the port and drop the rounds.

But if it were me I wouldn't buy any of them as I hate finding parts for old guns and am not a fan at all of norinco.
I would suggest you keep your eyes open for a gently used Savage Mrk II G with a wood stock.
They show up almost weekly on the EE. Good accurate guns and out of the box with a great trigger and are easy to scope.
They are based on that Lakefield and still built in the same place today.

Edit you can get a new savage for a little more than the prices you posted.
Dont buy by price within reason. If you settle you will want something better. You may want to look at a marlin 795, hell of a rifle!

If the Cooey was in better shape...probably that. However, I think I'd take the Lakefield. (assuming all these rifles are complete/function properly) Watch the asking price though. I'm not sure I'd pay $200 for that Lakefield unless it was like-new, with fairly low mileage. That's me..

For the record~the 22 I've shot most in the last 4-5 years is a Norinco. Pretty sure that if something breaks, the gun will become a paperweight...but nothing on it has. I don't put it above a nice Cooey 60...ever...but thought I should add that.

Thanks for the awesome advice I'll just put it out there that the Lakefield of $190, marlin $160 both from the same person. The norinco is $110 without scope or $190 with and the cooey is $100... And like I said so long as it works fine and shoots straight I'm not concerned about the cosmetics as I'll be painting the stock for the wife

At $190.00 the Lakefield is too high. If you are going to paint the stock anyways, just spend the $100.00 and get the Cooey. Unless you want an automatic in which case I'd get the Marlin. You said it is for your wife. Ask her what she wants.

Ya she doesn't know what she wants I'm thinking the Marlin because it's semi auto and only gun she's fired was my sks
