Need help finding a Cno7 22.

What happens to the firearms owned by local units? My old cadet squadron had a half dozen Anzchutz rifles that they bought with funds back in the 70's or 80's.

If they are not one of the approved rifles they will have to be disposed of. But if they were bought and not issued you may be able to sell them. But thats a question that your supply guy will need to look into. I'm not an expert in supply and DA issues :D

Weapons in use by the Cadets remain DND/public property and will ultimately be disposed of as any other surplus/obsolete DND small arms (the smelter).

Purple is right, Cadet property IS DND property, no one won't even get so much as a pencil out of Cadet stores.
Used to be a pretty cool Lancaster compass in the stores here at the local Cadet Sqraudron that I had my eye on, but when I asked the CO of the Sqraudron about it, he said "don't even think about it" CO's can have the military police show up at any time to an Aircadet Sqraudron and make lots of trouble, they are always esp. interested in those no 7 .22 cal rifles and their whereabouts.

I hear the MP's are looking for an ex-CO right now ;)

Don't want to lose any serialized kit, but its really bad if the CO decides to dispose of kit by selling it :bangHead:
