Need Help Finding A Encore Pro Hunter In Canada

Yes S.I.R has been tried.they say they have none and have no idea when they may.Thanks for the suggestion though,I appreciate the try.

Hi BIGREDD,I actually thought about shooting you a P.M to ask you about them as i remember you posting about them a few times in the past.I didn't notice any recent posts from you so i thought you must have been on a hunt or something so i thought i would try this.
He is looking for a 270,300 and to purchase a 22-250 barrel as well.There is no seperate muzzleloader season here so that probably wouldn't be up his ally.
Allthough i guess if the price was right he could buy it and sell the muzzleloader barrel and picking up the other one's if we can find them anywhere.
Would you mind finding out the prices of the ones you know about or letting me know where i can find them out???

I gave Epps a call a week or two ago and they are still waiting for there T/C order also. Welcome to Canada where everything takes 6 months to get! I'm waiting on a bbl for my encore since the spring, they think I should have it close to hunting season,won't be holding my breath on that one! Sorry I conldn't be of help good luck.

Hi Doubleman,I appreciate the try anyways.I have phoned pretty much everywhere on the list of canadian dealers but all anybody has is the muzzleloaders.
You are sure right.Seems like it's awfully hard to get stuff here.
S.I.R sent an e-mail saying they did have one but when we called we found out it wasen't the pro-hunter model he wants,just a regular Encore.
The only place i haven't asked yet is Wholesale sports.After phoning two different stores numerous times i gave up.All that happened every single time was i waited over a half hour each time the receptionist put me through to firearms and nobody ever picked up.
That gets too costly long distance.Wouldn't be so bad if you actually got to talk to someone in the end.
That was the first time i have ever tried to deal with them and probaly the last.
About the third time i called one of the stores i very politely mentioned to the girl that no
one ever picked up everytime i tried so i wanted to make sure the lines were working right as i didn't want to encure alot of long distance charges if there was a problem with the lines or anything.
She quite snottily let me know that there was nothing wrong with the lines they were just really busy and if i wanted to buy anything from them i would just have to stay on the line until someone got the time to answer my question and if i didn't want to wait on the line for that length of time then tough there was nothing i could do about it.
She really didn't care a whit and like i said was actually kinda nasty sounding.It kinda surprised me as i wasen't shooting my yap of at her or anything like that.If anything i was overly poleite and kinda chuckled about it when i asked if there was a problem.
I am a very patient guy as a rule but that just seemed overly long to me.
Not attacking the store or anything.In my opinion,Just don't seem like the type of people i like to deal with.So i guess i probaly won't.
I guess on the other hand i shouldn't be judging the whole place on a conversation with one person.
Maybe she's just having a really bad morning or something like that.

Oh yeah,I do have a couple of buddies in th US who would pick one up.Does anyone know what kind of hassle it is to get one here?
Do the companies that import them charge an arm and a leg or is it within reason?
I know that "within reason" depends on the person who wants it and how bad they want it so let's just say $200 or under as an example of reasonable in this case.
