Need help finding an accessory in canada

I am looking to add a mag extension to my mossberg 930 for IPSC shotgun.

The one I want is at the site below. Does anyone know of a Canadian company that stocks them or something similar?

I am not sure what the quality is like with Tac Star products but its something. Brownells has Nordic extensions but you need a export permit.

S&J are out of stock unfortunately.

It would be nice if 4GT had the 10 round extension. I may have to settle for 8.

going to be really hard to find anything bigger than the plus 2 in canada, mag limit laws and such. neither of my 3 gun friends have found any

If you install an extended mag tube on a semi, it will have to be plugged so the mag only holds 5rds of 3" shells.

You might want to check the Federal laws on this. It's a Federal law.

Magazines for semiauto centerfire are limited to 5 of whatever cartridge they are designed for. It's part of why some people go all googly-eyed for shotguns designed for 3.5" shells, then they can squeeze in a few extra 2.75" shells.

That S&J one is the only one I know about unfortunately.

Nordic Components extensions are the way to go. Drop the money on one of their modular extensions and a low-drag follower and you won't be sorry.

I've had both TacStar and S&J Hardware extensions and they were both full of fail.

Something to think about. As stated you are limited to 5 rounds in the tube of 3" shells for your 930. Tacstar are fine in my opinion (so far ) and 4GT is probably the best place to find them. If you want Nordic.... Cactus Tactical in the States has them for under 100.00 and they ship to Canada. Got my last order in 5 days shipped USPS. No hassles at all.

What is the maximum for IPSC? I see videos, reportedly from canada, of guns with 10 round extensions. Or is that only for pumps?

I intend to install the extension when I reach the range and remove it before I go home.

still illegal. your semi auto shotgun in canada can only hold 5 rounds of whatever size shell it is designed for (930 only does 3" not 3.5") regardless of if you are at the range or not.

pumps you can do whatever you want

The plug is only required for hunting.
