Does anyone know where I could find a caulking handle/lever for a Ithaca model 51. Mine fell out the other day while duck hunting so now in order to eject unused shells I would have to actually fire them out. No have already look in the shotgun parts/sales equipment exchange with no luck. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I’ll echo that if Ron doesn’t have it, no one will. Also, I’ve had a couple charging handles come out and get lost in the field. One out of of a 51, the other was a weatherby sa-08. I now keep a stubby flat head screwdriver in my upland jacket for emergencies as this, if I’m rocking a semi.

Agree on Ron Sharp - was the Ithaca Canada gunsmith for years before they closed down their operation in Canada. He has LOTS of parts. Hopefully he will be back on his feet shortly.
I have also dealt with WGP. I heard the horror stories before calling but I had a pleasurable experience. I think the key was having the gun part number and willing to purchase a minimum order - I only needed one recoil spring, but had to purchase 5 to get my order filled. Not a big deal.

Last time I called them, they wanted $20 to ship a firing pin for a Winchester 1300. Nope! I almost laughed as I hung up.
