Hi all,
I need a load for 9mm using a 120gr lead truncated cone bullet with Hodgdon Universal powder. The lyman manual list the bullet, but not with this powder. The Lee and the Hodgdon manuals list the powder for multiple 9mm load but not with the 120gr bullet. I was thinking something like 4.0gr of Universal for this load. Any idea/experience with this combination. I will shoot this from a Beretta 92 FS.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I had already check Google, but didn't find any relevant info. I have loads for 125gr and 115gr, so i will start from there and try it with a chrono as mentioned.

If you have loads for 115 and 125 and you're using a 120 grainer it's safer to go with the data for the heavier (125 gr.) bullet. It's always more prudent to start with the lighter powder charge & work up rather than start with the heavy charge and have to back off.
