Need Help. Gun wont FIRE!

I was going over range safety with my girlfriend and racked the slide on my P-07 Duty then I went to dry fire it and it wont fire. On the way to the range and the gun doesnt work. Any Ideas?
 
Safety is off
When I pull the trigger there is basicly no tension on it.
although when I put the safety on it feels pretty much the same. Just a little short pull.
 
I will try to check at the range. I will take it a long and see if there is anyone there who might take a look at it. Had it for a month with no papers dry fired fine. the papers finally show up and now it doesnt work. Go figure.
 
Try putting a mag in it...many guns will not fire without a mag locked in...it's a safety thing from old military arms....if you get in a struggle with someone and feel you may loose your weapon you can hit the mag release and the gun is disabled and cannot be used against you.
 
Well couldnt get it to work at the range. Everyone was shooting rifles no one knew what was wrong. Tried with a mag as well no change. It feels like the trigger is disconnected or something. Just not sure how or why.
 
I've had that happen on a Ruger with combination safety/hammer drop. I had to shake and wiggle it a bit. I also had it happen on a Colt Double Eagle a few years back. It's likely a problem with the linkage. Yours must be really jammed up.
 
According to the manual (http://cz-usa.com/assets/files/cz75P-07DUTY_en.pdf) you can damage the trigger mechanism:

However, it is not recommended that the safety be engaged while in this state as any forced cocking of the hammer could damage the trigger mechanism. The pistol safety shall be only engaged with the hammer in its rear position, i.e. cocked. The use of safety is therefore convenient for short interruptions of firing only.

That would truely suck if that was the case. I never put my guns away cocked and the safety wasnt on when I did it. Big pain in the ass either way. Long weekends suck when something breaks :(
 
Well took the gun into a local shop and they couldnt tell what was wrong with it without taking it apart so off it goes to warranty service without one shot fired. :(

I have the same annoying feature on my buckmark .22lr tho... theres gota be another reason for it.
 
Well the gun has been to warranty service and is on its way back. I have to phone on monday to talk to the gunsmith to find out exactly what the problem was.
 
Well my P-07 Duty just arrived. Great Service from CRAFM. I had my pistol back 1 week after they had recieved it. So I phoned to find out what the problem was and they said they had to replace the disconnector.
