So i took my CZ58 carbine to the range and was shooting a target at 50 yards. I hit three on paper top right. I had the rear sight block at Universal mark. How do i dial this rifle in? Does the gun come with a tool to adjust the front post sight? Any help would be appreciated. Now i know my gun was not cycling properly and was jamming brass and not ejecting. But any help would be great.

You need to raise the front sight post, there is a tool for it, I think the sks sight tool will work for the vz. As for the jamming, members here mention the vz gremlins they is a sticky for troubleshooting.

Drop the rear sight down to 100y mark and see how that works for ya.
As for the jamming/ejecting, try taking apart the bolt and scrub the ejector good and clean. Try again and go from there.

Well rifle is being shipped under warranty. Should not have these issues with brand new rifle. Hope tacordnance can fix it. I will look around for the sks thread. But if anyone can pipe in here on how to do the adjustments on cz, be great.

Whose a ton of you??
First complaint i have heard of jamming issues that require warranty wok on the cz. I currently have on hand 6 different cz/csa version not to mention what i have owned in the past and nothing a little elbow grease and a break in period didnt fix for one of them.

Look around, is this supposed to be normal. That a rifle will smash cartridges into gun. Like I do think know what to do. Is it easy to disassemble the bolt? All I know is me and others, if you look at the issue with not extracting the cartridge and rechambering a round. What are your thoughts.
