I bought this at Le Baron for $68. Only after getting home did I realize that the scope wasn't the one that belonged in this packaging.

According to the specs I pulled of the internet, the Red Dot bearing the model number BKRD42RGD has an overall length of 3.75" & a tube diameter of 42mm.

This is what I bought, packaged in the previously-shown & stapled/pre-opened plastic box.

It's clearly marked "Pro-Point", not Red Dot. The body diameter on what I bought is closer to 47mm, and the overall length is 4.16". It has an 11 position dial (5 red dots, 5 green dots plus "off"). The 2032 battery was missing as well, but I happened to have a spare lying around.

What the hell did I buy? I get the impression I made off with a great deal due to some nasty return mix-up, but I can't find any info on pricing or specs on what I have. It's driving me bonkers.... :p

Yes, you lucked out. This model ProPoint is about double the price of a RedDot. For comparison, go here: http:// w w w.opticsplanet.net/tasco-red-dot-scopes.html On this webpage, you should have had the first model but received the last model shown in the section "Tasco Red Dot Sights". Well done!!

WOW....great scoop. Now delete the thread before one of the store employees reads this and comes looking for you.... HAHAHA

I dunno guys....

The PDTS133 is listed as a 30mm and has an 11 position, red-only dot. It also has "Red Dot" printed on the side. Mine says "Pro-Dot" and has a green & red dot set-up. Any chance this could be a discontinued model?

As well, what does the 30mm dimension stand for? Body diameter? I.D. or O.D.?

Bump!

Anyone? I think I'm developing OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) because this is driving me nuts.

I don't know for a fact what I have. As well, I'm now worried that if I were to use it on anything bigger than the 10/22 for which I purchased it, it might fall apart. Is it possible that this is a .22 only item?

I have scoured the internet looking for something with the same graphics & dimensions as my scope, can't find anything. New or used.
