ok guys,
Im hoping the mauser experts here can help me with the history of this k98. It was sold to me as a RC but I think that its a czech post war build. I am making this assumption based on the the receiver markings, the fact that it had been scrubbed and the circle "z" marked on the butt plate. The only marking I am having a hard time identifying is some imperial marking and a "52" stamped on the floor plate. The rifle is covered in waffenamts on the little bits and pieces. Any help or ideas on this marking?
