Hey CGNers. I need some help identifying a shotgun that was recently given to me (lucky guy right???)
It's an old break action single shot .410. No serial or manufacturers stamp. Here are a few pics:
As you see, the only marking are on the left side of the receiver (SURE SHOT) and on the top of the barrel (PROOF TESTED 410 GA FULL CHOKE). No serial number is visible anywhere on the firearm.
I'm thinking it may be an old Cooey Model 84 but I haven't found a picture online of one with similar markings.
Any ideas?
