Need help identifying old model of 22 rifle

My friend has this semi-auto 22, that we are looking for a clip for, but we are having a hard time trying to deterime what it is:

Here is what we do know, from writing on the gun:

patent 2094577
other pending ... on the right side


Ranger.... on the top

.22 short long or long rifle
long rifle only as automatic... on the left side


Does any body have idea's?

I am trying to upload a picture, but still have not figured that out for this site! I would be happy to email pictures to anybody who thinks they may know!

Sounds like it is a Cooey 64 model..If it has an "L" bracket and a spring clip attached to it hanging below the clip plate on the stock. The mags are "obsolete" ...they were made of plastic and did not last long. the gun can be converted to metal magwell and mag.
