Found this photo in my grandfather's ww2 album. Not sure what country he is in, somewhere in western Europe. He spent time in England, Holland, Belgium, France and Germany, from 42-45 I believe.

Can anyone identify them?

Is one in his left hand a hi-power?

Right hand a p38?

The P-38 looks a bit odd. From the grainy pic and my crappy eyes, it looks like it has a rounded trigger guard ( like the Luger) and the hammer is either really small or missing which means it may have an internal hammer??
The left hand gun is a Browning or a variant of one. The slide stop sticking out the right side of the frame is pretty classic.
