Hi everyone,

I'm used to dealing with Lee Enfield and other milsurp rifle; the firearm below is somewhat new to me so apologies for asking for input here. I have been tasked with appraising then selling a deceased friend's firearms.

This is a mint or near-mint Browning A-Bolt, .22lr, with gloss-finish wood. It has an adjustable Williams peep sight. It comes with the mag pictured below and s spare mag (longer). I think it has an adjustable trigger but I need to double check that.

Thanks for any help figuring out reasonable market value for this gun; I will be selling them hopefully in a short while (still need to finish dealing with the CFC...), my friend's widow sure will be able to use the money.

Lou

Hi Lou. Browning appears to be in very good condition. Don't see many of these for sale in Canada. I put a value range of $400.00 to 600.00. Ron

Lou. You might want to remove the Williams sight or at least verify that there are no extra holes drilled in the receiver. It appears it has been fitted to the scope base holes which would not detract from its value. Forgot to mention that the long mag is a bonus and was included in my previous estimate. Ron

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

Ron, I believe you're right, looks like the rear sight is using the original holes but I'll check before listing when the paperwork with the CFC is done.
