Last time I thoroughly researched and then purchased a bi-pod it was a SEB Joy-pod.... IMO opinion SEB (and the MPOD for that matter) the goto for F Class TR... Clearly, its not the least bit practical for my most recent build......
I currently have a rifle length (12.5") handguard and 18.6" barrel on a modern semiauto.
She is already a fairly stout gun weighing in at 9.88 lbs with empty mag.
For now, the bipod will go on this gun and be used as a gopher/coyote gun....But someday down the road I may want to try my hand a PRS and build a 6.5 bolt gun and use the bipod between the two rifles.
So I want to choose carefully.

At the moment, I really like the 5-H series as they have:
To me, these two features translate into some serious stability.
However, I wonder if the 5-H is going to just be far to big and bulky for the hand guard?
Should I consider the PSR, V8, or even CAL series ?
Thanks for your responses.

At the moment, I really like the 5-H series as they have:
- A much wider stance/footprint at 14.5" to 19.5" versus the V8 and PSR series at 8" to 14ish"
- Also, the 5-Hs have an Apex height that is much higher than every other model.
