Need Help & Info on the Long Lee Endfield No 1

OK im not into Antique Rifles much so Need some Advise.

A good freind wants me to list this for him in the EE but i need some honest Values of what theses are worth.
Its missing only the front sling swivel the rest is all there all Orignal.
Its in 303.
The bore looks like it would be and good shooter with shiney land tops but dark grove bottoms with no visable pitting.
The gun has the long range sites.
Its a No 1 long lee.
I have more close up pics of the stamps ect on the wood and steel.
I understand theses are quite collectable.
Thats all i know im into Antique Revolvers not Rifles.

Well, considering they're listing run of the mill No 4's on here for 600.00 +, you probably could ask 800.00 to 1000.00 for it. It looks to be in excellent condition, volley sights and all. You should post this in the Milsurp forum. Lots of experts there that know more than I do about Lee Enfields.

I would estimate a little higher, it looks like its in great shape. Also its never been refit and modified to the later Mk1*, **, *** configurations

I would say $1000 would be low end

Thanks! i got alot of PM ect and i think your 100% right.

He was offered $1000 Locally but im not sure how serious the offer was.

just saw one in the EE listed at $1200 also in nice shape and one BTT so that should help ballpark your price.
