Hello I have a chance to buy a couple handguns one is a colt python with about a ten inch barrel and 357 of course and it is as new and the other is an inglis browning in 9mm that has the correct holster and is as new also not restored. What the heck are they worth? I've never noticed either on the EE so I need help. Thanks

I don't have pictures and it will be a while before I am out that way again. The old guy still uses a polaroid so it will be hard for him to email pics. I have fired the guns but that was 6 or 8 years ago. They probably haven't been out of the safe since. I just want to know is the python a $500 or $1000 gun is the browning a $300 or $600 gun? He also has a smith 29 8 3/8" and a 29 with a 4" barrel and a smith 38 special but I can't remember the model number.

Pythons are going in the $1500-2000 range depending on condition & finish. A 10" barrel might actually be a little less desirable than a 6" although I could be wrong on that assumption.

I sold a 95% Inglis a month or two ago for about $1200 which didn't seem out of line with what I had seen others go for.

Python is valuable (experts opinion here) and the browning is worth about roughly 1000 if in the condition stated. I'll take the model 29 if you don't want it... or any for that matter!

Which 29 do you want? There's an 8 3/8 and a 4. This old turkey is goofy so this deal might take a month or two. I have an 8 3/8 29 already with a scope on it that I might sell if I don't get these others.

Depending on price, I think the 83/8 would be neat.is the 4" prohib or just 4.2? You have a good opportunity to pick up some very nice guns!

Really need a bit more info on the python, blued, nickle or stainless?original box?type of grips?condition?

As mentioned above, its more likely a 8 inch barrel, pythons were never made in 10 inch.Pictures would always help as well

Was there not a colt huntermodel afew years back in 10"
iwould just buy them all if the prices are what you are listing
I think the pythons are over priced now, but I guess that is
what people are paying
Marshall P.S. are you going to the gun show this week end?
I will be there.

First post here, and just browsing this morning!
I have a 6" python - Royal blue, rubber grip VG+ condition and had an appraisal at $2,800.00
They are very valuable and sought after guns.
