I want to put up a sportered (stock forend has been cut) .30-06 FN manufactured Columbian Mauser rifle on the Exchange but am not familiar with their values.
Can anyone here help. Condition is good or better and numbers are matching.

Thanks for any input.

Without pics and a better description it's going to be pretty hard to give a good value. From what you've stated, anywhere from 150-300 is what I would estimate.

Has the metal been modified in anyway? Barrel cut back? Sights removed? Pitting below the wood?

Hi, thanks for the input. Photobucket is such a pain now it's nearly impossible to use, it just takes so much time. I'll try again. Metal is uncut and sights original. Only wood seems cut and I don't know if .30-06 is original to this rifle or a re-bore.

Photobucket is the worst.

It depends on the model. Could have been .30-06 from new or it could have been converted in a Colombian arsenal to that chambering. Again, without pics, hard to say.

Looks a little better than a lot of the Colombian 1950's I've seen and it looks restorable. I don't see why you couldn't get 250 for it. The bore is bright and shiny?
