These sights came on my Anschutz Model 54 and my eyes aren't good enough to use them.
I have no idea what the set up is worth but I've been told they are top end.
I would like to sell them to someone who will put them to good use.
Does anyone know what they should sell for on the EE
Thanks in advance for any help.

I'd put the set up for $350 and see what happens.

Do you know if the knobs on the rear sight were replaced at some point? I can't recall seeing an International model rear sight with those knobs AND the vernier scale. How solid are the clicks?

It looks like the rear aperture has colour filters as well as the adjustable iris. I prefer filters + polarizer for outdoors but the unit is well made and should last for many years.

The front tunnel is the basic Anschutz tunnel for 1400/1600/1800-series rifles with the front sight block (instead of the muzzle dovetail).

Everything looks solid and reliable.

I'm not sure if the knobs were replaced/upgraded or not. The clicks are really tight and positive. Yes the rear has a dial that when turned moves differnt colored fillters into use.
The rear iris is adjustable and the front discs are also differnt sizes in the container.

What you have is an old style rear sight but with updated adjustment knobs, the front sight is also old style that require a sight block to clamp onto, Anschutz eliminated the sight block after the 1900 series rifles with the front sight clamp directly onto a dove tail machined in the barrel, so your front sight will not fit the current rifles.

The plastic insert don't worth much, in fact most serious shooter use adjustable front aperture, IMHO $350 is a bit high, $250 would be a good deal for the buyer, $300 is a reasonable price for the lot.

Agreed....$525.00 would be quite high for them........

What is unfortunate is that the actual sight set is fairly old.

They look like an old 68XX series and I would concur with TonyC about whether or not they would fit on an 11mm dovetail anymore.

The coloured knobs for the sights are an "add on" additional item - purely for aesethitcs ... the original sights have the knobs in black and one can purchase coloured knobs for about $20 or so.

The plastic aperture inserts aren't worth a great deal.

What is quite amazing is that rear sight iris - it appears to be an AHG 95XX series which has coloured filters and also a variable iris. THAT in and of itself is worth quite a bit of money. Those aren't cheap these days.

The sights themselves aren't worth a great deal - reasons given by Tony to name a few, but that rear sight variable iris is worth something.

$250-300 for the whole set would be about the max you would be able to get I would guess. Tough to say what the market would demand.

More Info

The front and rear sight are both made for the 11m dove tail. The front does sit on the machined 11m dovetail of the barrel. Would this mean the barrel was upgraded at some point as the machining and blueing is perfect and does not look like it has been altered
