Need help removing Ambi-Safety from Norc 1911

Hey Guys,

I'm watching this video on youtube to detail strip my 1911 which so far has been VERY helpful but the guy in the video is using a Norc Commander with only one sided safety. How do you take off the Ambi safety?

You have to remove the right side safety first, then the left.

Hi, just engage the right hand safety a few times and it will beak off easily. Mine fell off after I cleaned it. Have yet to fire it! Really cheap and soft metal,has a very thin tab.
