need help soon huge 10 point

I was in a tree stand and rattled in a 10 point buck but we didn't see him until we climbed down to leave. so we climbed back up the tree while he was still checking us out. He kind of just i don't think he was scared but just got bord or iffy so he left. If i went back a couple of hours later do you think i could get him back?? should i try bleating instead?

My guess is you'll never see him again. I can count the decent bucks that gave me a second chance on one hand. The good part is that you will remember the ones that got away long after you forget those that didn't.

Just out of curiousity, are you counting eastern or western count?

Spend more field time and less internet time. Deer are territorial and he may well turn up again-provided you are out there waiting for him.

Eastern count. This is my first year and first buck i seen i'm sure a more seasoned hunter would have got him but i thought he would have taken two more steps to a nice clearing. it was amazing how the rattling worked i hope i can find a new spot tomorrow and rattle in another one.
