I bet this is a common problem with the US stores not shipping bullets to us Canadians and I'm very new to reloading so I hope it not a dumb question, but, where would I find an oddball bullet like these two from Buffalo Arms:

h ttp://www.buffaloarms.com/browse.cfm/4,905.html
h ttp://www.buffaloarms.com/browse.cfm/4,906.html

They're both for a Winchester 1910 Self Loader in .406". I've called and emailed a lot of places to no result so far. Remember I'm new to this so casting my own bullets isn't something I'm ready for yet, and I'd prefer copper jacketed like the original for now. So, any ideas??

(Yes, I have searched the forum and contacted anyone I could)

Here's a few ideas:

I don't know what for, but .406 diameter bullets seem to be popular in Europe still.

Barnes makes a .411 diameter TSX catalog number 41130, maybe could be put on a lathe and take off a few thou. Few other makers also make jacketed .411's but you might get through the jacket if you try and lathe them.

I was looking around and a lot of people report oversize bores in these guns, might need something close to that size anyways.

Barnes also USED to make a .406 X bullet but it seems to have been dropped, might find some old stock.

A-Square makes a .409 400 grain but that may be too heavy. Could cut off the bottoms maybe?

Thanks for that, I will have the smith gauge the bore and let me know what I need, unfortunately I don;t have access to a lathe capable of taking that little bit of metal off, but that may be what I have to do.

While not jacketed, M.T. Chambers makes and sells all kinds of bullets for odd cals. .401, .406,.408,.410, etc.
