Hi folks,

I've been trying to find a way to get the owner's manual and technical data of my Sako AV in .270 win

Does anyone have any contact info at the Sako company?

Any help would be much apreciated!

I have a few Sako rifles too, including an AV in .30-06 with a hunter stock. The Sako AV is a particularly nice model. It is also often referred to as a L61R or a Finnbear, and it was originally called the A3. The AV series were chambered in .25-06, .270, .30-06, and magnum calibres. The Av rifles were made from 1970 to 1982, and are considered by many owners to be some of the finest Sako rifles ever made (although fans of the pre-Gracia models would question that, lol).

I had no idea the AV was the same as a L61R. I am very fond of this rifle since it belonged to my grand-father. Before I started using it last year, it had not shot a round in 15 years. Also I really enjoy the potential of the .270 caliber.

I'll have a lot of stuff to read on the Sako forum...
