Hello,

Thanks for checking this out. My dad got these from a friend of his who's father was an officer in the Canadian military in WWII and this belonged to him. He didn't want any of it anymore and gave it away. All this stuff was stored since probably 1944 and hasn't seen daylight until now.

Among the 9mm, .45acp, 38 s&w, and .22 there were a few very unique pieces, specifically the 55 cal for the Boys AT rifle, the .45 Webley automatic for the Webley 1913 (I'm 95% sure), and WW1 era .303. The cleaning brushes and jags are marked "Parker Hale"

My questions are what the flares are (they are flares right?), the black bands on the .303, (tracer?) the headstamp is "DAC 28 VII G .IZ", a projectile for a 20mm with a hollow charge?

Feel free to chime in. Thank you :)

Instead of dumping all the images here, I decided to post a link to photobucket.

Seem to have one of the special cartridges for the Greener GP riot gun, with the bottle-neck to stop people using ordinary shotgun shells in it.
The cylindrical tin is the anti-misting outfit for the service gas mask.
Flares are probably for the 1" Very signal pistol.

I remember those from my service in the 1980s.
