the second is a merkel model 47 SxS 12ga. i dont know the year it was made, this one is heavely engraved and was case hardened

thanks any info would be nice

You need to post pictures if you want a reasonable answer. The guns could be held together with copper wire and chewing gum or the gun maybe some strange low number variant that commands a premium, we need pictures to tell.

well i dont have any pictures because they are locked up at my dads house 20 min away so...

the parker was my great grandfathers gun, it was used but not heavily just has normal nicks and scratches from use, blueing is 80%, it shoots well iv shot trap with it, barrels are in good condition

the merkel is in almost new condition, i dont think it has fired more than 15 rounds according to the previous owner, we have never fired it, when i handled the gun i couldnt see any scratches any where and the blueing is perfect

i guess i picture is worth thousand words, wish i had one

If you have ever been to this website in the past, they have revamped it and now give out much more info for free.

My Grandfather owned one manufactured in 1886, and my Uncle kept it in his damp basement, and I used to beg him to give it to me before it rusted to death. After years and years of asking I finally got it, but only after he sanded the inside and outside of the barrels to remove the rust.:( Every time I look at it I want to wack him off the side of the head. He also polished off the case coloring on the receiver.

Hope this helps a bit. Its from the 2009 Gun Digest book of Guns & Prices. 4th Edition.
At least it can give some comparitive values. They are always only worth what someone is willing to pay, but a well advertised top end gun like your pieces should get you a new top o` the line Quad with all the cup holders and gun racks.
