Need help, what to start reloading

Holy cow!!! Presses, dies, powder scales, manuals, lube pad, case trimmer, dial calipers... what am I getting myself intoThis sounds like rocket science. Is this as hard as it is sounding???
My budget is very ow right now. What I've been looking at is a Lee Challenger Single Stage Press Anniversary Kit for around $80 us

well you're sol there- midway doesn't ship to canada the best pricing i've seen is about 120 new - less your freakin dies - another roughly 40-50 bucks
starting out, the challanger press is ok, but the rest of what's in the kit is easily subbed
ram prime- get the auto prime instead for about 20 bucks and you won't spend all day priming,and you'll know where all your primers are
powder funnel- never used it, you'll end up getting a powder measure instead anyway-
case sizing lube- a staples uninked stamp pad- roll job
that's ALL THAT'S IN THERE
no where near WHAT YOU NEED to get started properly
save your money and at least go up to the ANNIVERSARY KIT
at least a proper scale and case trimmer
If you want to reload for Long Range Precision, you're going to spend $400 or more by the time you're finished, and you're still going to be doing things all manually.
If you just want to load high volumes of .223, where tight tolerances are not as critical, any of the cheaper press kits will get you going.
Buy a single stage press of good quality for your precision rifle reloading. Redding Big Bos or the Rock Chuckar are a good start.
