 I was given a 1957 Husqvarna Vapenfabrik AB .308 and it is in very rough shape. I believe that it is a model 4100. The action is still solid and the trigger is crisp, however it was used on a fishing boat and the barrel has been hacked off and the stock is split through the comb. The stock is beyond repair and it will need a new barrel. I realize this will be a costly venture but I would like to turn it into a labour of love. I could use some ideas and methods to remove the rust and re-blue it as well as places to start looking for stocks and a barrel.
I can see on the bolt that it was once jeweled, not so much anymore, is there anyway to bring that back?

I appreciate all the help that I can get.

Thanks, Marcel
