I need help with my wildey survivor pistol in .45 mag.
I need pics of the extractor or of the bolt face were you can see the extractor.
the problem I am having is when you feed a loose round into the gun it will not extract it. it says when shooting add more gas if its not extracting. so I am wondering will it even pull a shell out if its not being fired? I look at the bolt face and I can see the pin that holds the extractor but I can tell if its in there or not. I'd like to compare it to some one else's bolt.

thanks

Is this problem from shooting the gun at the range, loading from the mag?
Some auto's are control round feed (like a Mauser bolt action) where the round slides in under the extractor when the slide picks it up from the mag. If you are dropping a round in the chamber and gently closing the bolt, the extractor likely isn't going over the rim.
Hopefully you are using spent cases or dummy rounds (not live) if you are playing around at home.

thanks for the help. lol yes I am using a spent case.

I have no idea how the extractor works. its nothing like any other extractor that I have seen before. I really need some one else with a wildey to understand it.

I can tell you that i you put 1 empty case in the gun, (along with an empty magazine), close, then open the slide, the empty case will be ejected.
