Need help with 99c

I'm unable to get the screw out on the forestock of my Savage. NOT.. the screw that holds the forestock to the barrel. the one that holds the swivel.

I noticed there is a washer type hole that the screw fits into.

Please help

mine's just a standard detachable swivel screw- must be a different way of mounting- there's a hole where the screw for the forearm attaches to the barrel, and a standard detachable sling type screw- no big deal- i put a small diameter rod through it( like a nail) and turn- maybe yours is different- no need to take it off really once the forearm is off

Actually I just got it out, theres a nut that the screw goes in and was turning with the screw. wore out or something
