Need help with a newly acquired shotgun

Hi Guys, I just aquired a Shotgun for free. It was jammed up on the old owner.
It is a Winchester Model 50 semi-auto 2.75 full choke. Serial Number: 140944
I would like to know two things: What year is this? And: After disassembly and clean, the hammer is broke. What does a hammer normally cost and where is the best place to get one? I`m in S.E Sask. Thanks,Darcy

Thanks. I tried WGP and Numerich and nothing. I tried Brownells and Midway and they don`t list the hammer

Go to the "Love my Winchester" forum on shotgunworld. Some stickies on the model 50 and if you post the question someone is bound to know where in the US you can get a hammer. Your free gun may be about to start costing you $$$$$
