Need help with a shotgun value

hey i have a chance to buy a shotgun, its a browning A-5 3 inch mag, its in super condition, not a belgium but it has magnum twelve written on the reciever, its a full fixed choke any idea of value, i have got any pics,

i'd say 500 on a low 750 on a high, pics could help out to give a better value

Hard to say I've seen them let go localy for 4-500 in awesome condition and kicked myself for being a poor student and then seen them sit on the EE here for longish times at 800$

this one here isn't mint but its the closest thing to it, couple of minor handling marks, if i bought it and decided to resell, could i get $500 outta it

It might take some time. Does it have a thick enough barrel to have it threaded. If it does, $500 should be fine, if not $300 from me if you are interested.

according to the seial number i beleive it was made in 1980, thanks for the input guys it is greatly appreciated, so am i safe to say somewhere between $500-$700 ?

It will be a hard gun to sell. The 3" magnum with a full choke makes it less desirable for uplands or target shooting. As a waterfowl gun the fixed full choke means it is not suitable for using with steel shot. Even among the Auto 5 fan club it would be less desirable becauuse it's a Japanese-made gun and not a Belgian.

Based on your description I don't think $500 is too much.

There might be more interest in a Belgian-made gun but I think $500 is reasonable for the gun as described.
