Need Help with M&P Pro Trigger

Ok, since you asked in Capital letters... ;)

Rule 10.5.5 was not modified from it's current wording in the final rules proposal presented for vote at the general assembly and therefore - no change; an exemption for sweeping remains while holstering and drawing. We do win sometimes. :D

Back on topic;
As for the change in trigger pull motion, it became focused on the single action portion of the proposal. Germany argued that light triggers are too dangerous for the average shooter to have and therefore the proposal should be approved. USA rightly argued that we've been using light single action trigger pulls for decades without problems and apparently the majority of regions agreed. The motion died - 29 against, 25 in favor.

:cheers:
Lol...so we lost the rule that would have allowed lighter triggers on most guns because the argument was that light triggers aren't unsafe...lol
Methinks they should have seperated those two items to 1) minimum single action pulls weight and 2) double action/initial minimum pull weight. and let them be voted on seperately....or just put a motion to get rid of the minimum pull weight altogether.

would have been nice if it passed, i was looking forward to shooting ipsc with my new pro instead of just IDPA

maybe i need to build an open m&p for giggles and shoot that...

thanks for the corrected input SEAN (damn, there's that caps lock again :D)...PS the Handgun Marked-Up version of the 2012 Rulebook should be available by tomorrow (Friday...on that "other" IPSC site)
