Hi all,
I have a scoped remington 597 with heavy barrel and I often have FTE, double feed and light primer strikes with it. With a 10 round mag I have at least 1 problem.
I also have sporadic accuracy. With some Winchester ammo I can group 1 inch at 50 yard when it feels like it but every once in a while it throws flyers 4 to 6 inches off left and right. So far this is the best ammo I have found for it.
I was wondering if those issues were common and if there was a fix? Also how tight those two screws on the stock near the trigger group should be?
Thank you for your help.
