Need help with my CZ Shadow Line Safety

I just got this CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Line today. I have a friend with a CZ 85 and another friend with a 75 Shadow Line (non SP-01), both of their safeties will engage when the hammer is fully cocked. Mine will only engage when the hammer is at half ####. Is that right? I was under the impression I could have this gun cocked and safetied.

If anyone could educate me a bit on this id appreciate it. Ive read the "manual" and it does say it should work at any hammer position.
 
Nevermind, figured it out. The safety leg of the sear wasnt properly modified when the competition hammer was installed and would therefore not allow the safety to be engaged at anything other than half ####. I trimmed it down a bit and got the clearance to engage the safety at full ####... but its not enough for uncocked. Which isnt a big deal to me.
