Hi,
I bought the Dillon electric case trimmer a few months ago to load .308, but am having problems. I load on a Dillon 550, and have for over twenty years, but all 9mm, .40, .45, etc. until now, so no trimming required. Here's what the brass looks like after trimming...the blade is crushing the case, rather than trimming it. When I put the bullet in to seat it, it just mangles it. As you can see the case wall is thicker after trimming, but I don't know why? I called Dillon who told me that I could have dinged the cutting blade, so I checked, and I had. However, when I changed it-it's three cutting edges, so I adjusted it to a new one- I still have the same problem so I'm stumped...
Anyone have experience with this machine that can tell me what I'm doing wrong...
