Need help with my new Savage 64 FFR!!!

So I bought a new Savage 64 FFR. It came with no iron sights but was fitted with bases from the factory. I went and bought a Tasco rimfire scope to mount on it, however the scope rings that came with it do not fit with the bases. Being fairly new to firearms I'm not sure exactly what kind of bases they are and/or what rings I will need to rectify the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
 
Pretty sure you'll need to purchase a set of weaver style rings... they can be had for cheap... (Under $30) check some of our sponsors above... or your local wholesale sports.
 
I'm thinking the scope came with dovetail style rings, which is why it isn't fitting. I'm going to go look around tomorrow at some local retailers.
