Need help with nut.

Hi,

Was trying to mod my Remington 870 and in the process the foreend receiver nut somehow got stuck on really tight. Does anyone know of a tool that helps in removing or replacing the nut. I tried needle nose pliers used perpendicular, vicegrips, vice, and it still won't come off - totally demolished the receiver but still want to get the nut off as it's holding on a foreend that I want, but the damn nut won't budge. Is their a tool for these collar type thingys?

yes it's called a spanner tool, they come with the guns, and a stronger version is available on ebay as well

Do you have an angle grinder? and a thin cut off blade?

you can make one by cutting two notches in an old socket. There is a thread here somewhere with pictures

Claw end of a hammer works good too, I used that once when I needed to tighten er up.
